Bilypsa Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of high triglycerides and cholesterol levels in diabetic people that are not controlled by treatment with statin (a class of medicines used to lower blood cholesterol and fats levels). This medicine reduces the levels of bad cholesterol and triglycerides and increases the levels of good cholesterol in your blood. It is also effective in controlling blood sugar levels and may be used as an add-on treatment for diabetes (high blood sugar levels). Bilypsa Tablet is also indicated for the treatment of Noncirrhoic Non-Alcohol Steatohepatitis (NASH is a liver condition causing inflammation and liver damage due to the build-up of fat in the liver) and Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) with comorbidities such as obesity, type 2 diabetes mellitus, high blood cholesterol levels, or metabolic syndrome. NAFLD is a liver condition characterised by the accumulation of excess fat in the liver that is not caused by alcohol. Bilypsa Tablet may cause side effects like headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects last for a long time or become severe.
