Clonil 25 Tablet is a tricyclic antidepressant medicine, used in the treatment of psychological conditions like obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression and anxiety disorders like panic attacks. It is also used in the treatment of muscle weakness associated with a sleep disorder called narcolepsy. It works by increasing the levels of a chemical substance called serotonin in the brain that helps in regulating mood and treating depression. Clonil 25 Tablet may cause some common side effects like dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite stomach upset, indigestion and, constipation. Do not drive vehicles or operate machines as it may cause dizziness and drowsiness. It may cause intense vertigo or dizziness when you suddenly stand up, so it is advised that you rise slowly and with support, if you have been sitting or lying positions. It may also lead to weight gain in some people. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen.
