Fefol-Z Capsule is a combination medicine which belongs to the class of hematinics. This medication is primarily prescribed to prevent and treat deficiencies of folic acid, zinc, and iron in the blood. It helps in maintaing the levels of these essential elements in the blood for mormal physiological functioning. These nutrients play crucial roles in maintaining the overall health and function of the body. Low levels of these essential elements can occur in various situations, such as anaemia (reduced amount of red blood cells or haemoglobin), pregnancy, inadequate dietary intake, and during recovery from surgery. When the body lacks an adequate supply of red blood cells or hemoglobin, it can lead to symptoms like fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, and pale skin.
