Olmesar 40 MG Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). This medicine relaxes your blood vessels and promotes the smooth flow of blood. Thus, it helps to control high blood pressure. Olmesar 40 MG Tablet has some side effects like cough, nausea, headache, diarrhoea, upset stomach, etc. This medicine may cause dizziness, therefore avoid driving vehicles or operating machines. Rise slowly from sitting or lying position if you feel dizzy during treatment with Olmesar 40 MG Tablet. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse, consult your doctor. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Olmesar 40 MG Tablet can be taken with or without food as directed by your doctor. Avoid stopping this medicine suddenly as it can cause your blood pressure to rise, thereby increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke (a condition that occurs due to reduced blood supply to the brain). Your doctor may prescribe this medicine alone or in combination with other medicine based on the severity of your health condition. Olmesar 40 MG Tablet should be used with caution if you have kidney or liver problems. Your doctor may suggest tests to frequently monitor your heart, liver, or kidney functions and electrolytes levels while you are taking Olmesar 40 MG Tablet. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicine before starting the treatment.
