Olmetime-AMH 20 Tablet is a combination of Hydrochlorothiazide, Amlodipine and Olmesartan. It is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. This medicine works by relaxing the heart muscles and blood vessels. It also increases the water and sodium excretion from the body. Thus, it promotes the smooth flow of blood throughout the body. Olmetime-AMH 20 Tablet has some side effects like swelling in your ankles or feet, headache, sleepiness, dizziness, cough, nausea, and upset stomach. This medicine may cause you to urinate more often as it works by removing extra water from your body. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse, consult your doctor immediately. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Olmetime-AMH 20 Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose will be decided by your doctor depending on your health condition. Take this medicine at the same time every day to maintain a constant level in the blood. Avoid the discontinuation of this medicine without your doctor’s consultation as it can cause your blood pressure to rise, thereby increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke (a condition that occurs due to reduced blood supply to the brain). Olmetime-AMH 20 Tablet should be used with caution if you have kidney or liver problems, or diabetes. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicine before starting the treatment. Olmetime-AMH 20 Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding.
