Description
Ivabrad OD 10 Tablet 10’S
Ivabrad 10 Tablet is a medicine used for the treatment of chronic angina (a type of chest pain, often described as squeezing, pressure, heaviness, or tightness in the chest caused due to reduced blood flow to the heart) and chronic heart failure (a condition where the heart is unable to pump adequate blood throughout the body). This medicine works by slowing the heart rate and promoting a smooth flow of blood. Ivabrad 10 Tablet has side effects like headache, diarrhoea, slow or irregular heartbeats, increased blood pressure, nausea, blurred vision, etc. This medicine may cause dizziness. Hence avoid driving vehicles or operating machines and rise slowly from a sitting or lying down position while on treatment with Ivabrad 10 Tablet. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Ivabrad 10 Tablet is usually taken with food to avoid stomach discomfort. The dose and duration of the treatment will be decided by your doctor based on the severity of your condition. Take it at the same time daily for ease of remembering and to maintain a constant level of the medicine in your body. Avoid abrupt discontinuation of Ivabrad 10 Tablet without consulting your doctor, as it can worsen your condition. Ivabrad 10 Tablet is not recommended for use if you have severe liver problems, low blood pressure, acute decompensated heart failure (a sudden worsening of the signs and symptoms of heart failure), sick sinus syndrome (inability to create an adequate heart rate by the heart’s natural pacemaker), third-degree AV block (a condition that makes your heart beat slowly or skip beats), or if your heart rate is controlled by the pacemaker (a device used to control an irregular heart rhythm). Inform your doctor about all your current medications and pre-existing medical conditions before taking this medicine. This will help your doctor adjust the dose to avoid side effects.
