Tentide AF 25 contains Tenofovir alafenamide which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-viral drugs. It is used to treat chronic (long-term) hepatitis B infection in adolescents and adults (aged 12 years and older). Hepatitis B is a virus that infects the liver, causes long-term infection, and can result in liver damage. It can show symptoms like easy tiredness, anxiety, lack of appetite, jaundice, fits and vomiting. Before taking Tentide AF 25, inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney disease, hepatitis C or D (viral liver infection), HIV infection, intolerance to some sugars. Tentide AF 25 should be used with caution in pregnant women and it is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Prior to the treatment, your doctor may want you to take several blood tests to understand your existing condition. During the treatment take precautions to avoid sexual contact and spreading the infection to others.
