Description
AjaDuo 10mg/ 5 mg Tablet 10’S
AjaDuo 10 mg/5 mg Tablet is a combination of Empagliflozin and Linagliptin. It is an anti-diabetic medicine used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (a condition in which your blood sugar levels are abnormally high because your body is unable to use the insulin it makes properly to move sugar from the blood into the cells). This medicine helps in controlling blood sugar levels and preventing complications of diabetes such as blindness, kidney damage, stroke (reduced blood supply to your brain), and heart attack (interruption of blood supply to your heart). AjaDuo 10 mg/5 mg Tablet shows side effects such as nausea, headache, difficult or painful urination, sore throat, muscle pain, stomach pain, etc. This medicine can occasionally cause low blood sugar levels, causing symptoms such as sweating, dizziness, shivering, feeling hunger, tiredness, etc. To avoid these side effects, eat your meals on time and carry a sugar source (sweets or fruit juice) for immediate relief. Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking this medicine as it can also lower your blood sugar levels. AjaDuo 10 mg/5 mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Avoid taking more or less than the recommended dose. For ease of remembering, take this tablet around the same time every day. Do not stop taking this medicine unless advised by your doctor, even if your sugar levels are normal. AjaDuo 10 mg/5 mg Tablet is not recommended if you are allergic to it or if you have type I diabetes (a condition where your body is unable to produce a hormone called insulin), diabetic ketoacidosis (high amounts of acids such as ketones in your blood), or severe kidney conditions. It should be used with caution if you have liver problems, hypotension (low blood pressure), or heart conditions.
