Torglip M 50/1000 Tab is a combination of Metformin and Vildagliptin, which belongs to a group of medicines called Antidiabetic agents. Torglip M 50/1000 Tab is used to manage type 2 diabetes (also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus) in adult patients whose diabetes cannot be controlled by diet and exercise alone and/or with other medicines used to manage diabetes (insulin or sulphonylureas such as glimepiride and glipizide). Type 2 diabetes is a chronic medical condition in which the body does not make enough insulin, or the insulin that is produced does not work well. Symptoms include excessive urination, excessive thirst, hunger, fatigue, and blurred vision. Before taking Torglip M 50/1000 Tab, inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, or heart problems. It should be used during pregnancy only if advised by your doctor, and it is not recommended for pregnant women. Torglip M 50/1000 Tab is not suitable for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age, and it should be used with caution in elderly patients (65 years of age and above). Avoid consumption of alcohol during treatment with Torglip M 50/1000 Tab, as it may increase the risk of lactic acidosis.
