Ecosprin 150 is a combination of Aspirin, Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel. It is used to prevent stroke (damage to a part of the brain due to incompetent blood supply), heart attack (blockage of heart muscles due to the formation of plaques), due to high cholesterol/fat levels in your body. Ecosprin 150 works by lowering the bad cholesterol and increases the level of good cholesterol in your body. It also decreases blot clot formation. Ecosprin 150 may show some side effects like stomach pain, diarrhoea, headache and joint pain. These side effects subside on their own as your body starts adapting to this medicine. Consult your doctor if any side effects persist or worsen. Ecosprin 150 may also increase the risk of bleeding, therefore be careful while using any sharp tool or objects. It is recommended that you avoid taking this medicine if you are previously allergic to it. Ecosprin 150 is recommended to be taken with food to avoid any stomach problem. You may have to take this medicine for a long time. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so.
