Labebet 100 MG Tablet is a medicine used to treat hypertension (abnormally high blood pressure). It may also be used in the treatment of angina (chest pain due to decreased blood flow to the heart). This medicine works by inhibiting the action of certain chemicals that cause increased blood pressure. It relaxes the blood vessels and slows the heart rate, thus improving blood flow and controlling high blood pressure. Labebet 100 MG Tablet shows common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, sweating, fatigue, or a tingly feeling on the scalp. These side effects usually subside with time. However, if they persist or worsen, consult your doctor for further assistance. Avoid driving vehicles or operating heavy machines while taking this medication as it can cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Labebet 100 MG Tablet may be taken with or without food. Do not break, crush, or chew the tablet. Take the medication at the same time every day for ease of remembering. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting your doctor, as it can worsen your condition. Labebet 100 MG Tablet is not recommended if you have asthma (a respiratory condition causing breathing difficulty), heart failure (inability of the heart to pump sufficient blood), greater-than-first-degree heart block (abnormal electrical signals of the heart affecting the blood flow), cardiogenic shock (your heart suddenly stops to pump the adequate amount of blood), severe bradycardia (abnormally slow heart rate than normal). It should be taken with caution if you have a liver or kidney condition, diabetes (high blood sugar levels), or peripheral vascular disease (accumulation of fat on the walls of blood vessels leading to blockage of blood flow).
